Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Ardion Ventures, LLC (“Ardion”) collects through ardionventures.com, why it is collected, and how it is handled. Ardion does not sell personal information.
Information you submit
The only personal information this site asks for is what you enter into the contact form. That form collects:
- Your name and email address (required, so I can identify and reply to you)
- Your organization (optional)
- The type of inquiry you are making (required)
- A description of what you are working through (required)
- Your desired timing and how you heard about Ardion (optional)
This information is used to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, and to keep a record of our correspondence. It is not used for marketing lists, and it is not shared with third parties except the service providers described below.
How submissions are delivered
Form submissions are delivered to Ardion by email through Resend, an email delivery provider that processes the contents of your submission in order to transmit it. Once delivered, your message is held in Ardion’s business email account.
Hosting and analytics
This site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request data (such as IP address and browser user agent) in the course of serving pages and protecting the service.
The site uses Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. It records page views and two specific interactions — that a contact form was submitted, and that an outbound link was clicked — so I can tell which parts of the site are useful. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies to track you across sites and does not build an advertising profile. The analytics event recorded on form submission includes the inquiry type you selected, but not your name, email address, or message.
Web fonts are served from this site’s own domain rather than a third-party font CDN, so loading a page does not send a request to Google Fonts.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not run a third-party ad network.
Retention
Inquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to the inquiry and to maintain ordinary business records. You may ask for your inquiry and correspondence to be deleted, and Ardion will do so unless it needs to be kept for a legal or record-keeping reason.
Your choices
You can ask what information Ardion holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. To make a request, email hello@ardionventures.com.
You are never required to use the contact form. If you would rather not submit information through this site, you can email Ardion directly at the address above.
Other sites
Burning Wood Apparel is a division of Ardion Ventures, LLC and is operated by Ardion. It runs on its own site, with its own privacy notice and its own order and payment processing, so information you submit there is handled under that site’s notice rather than this one.
This site also links to destinations Ardion does not control, such as Sessionize. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
Relationship to other organizations
Ardion Ventures, LLC is independently owned and operated. Information you submit through this site is received by Ardion, and is separate from Chris Osterhout’s employment at Diagram.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
